Digs for Kids Volleyball Tournament

DIGS FOR KIDS is a one-day volleyball tournament on Saturday, June 9 for adult players benefiting youth sports programs at the YMCA. Come out and bump, set, spike for a good cause and have a great time! in addition to the adult tournament, we’ll have FREE youth instruction and brunch starting at 10 AM. Prizes for our divisions will be provided by our friends at City Surf!

Each team guaranteed 3 matches in their division:

• Recreational 6v6 coed
• Intermediate(B) 4v4 coed

Team check-in begins at 10:15. Tournament play begins promptly at 11:00 AM at Sandbar Cantina & Grill in Deep Ellum | Dallas, TX. Live music from DJ B! All registered participants receive a special event t-shirt, and we’ll have great prizes for the winners of each division and raffles throughout the tournament. Proceeds benefit youth sports programs at the YMCA.

DSSC Sand Volleyball Rules
6v6 Recreational Coed (at least 2 women)
4v4 Intermediate(B) Coed (at least 1 woman)

Registration and Fees

Team of 4s: $130 (early bird), $160 (regular)
Team of 6s: $160 (early bird), $190 (regular)

This year we’ve made a goal to raise $1,500 to support our friends at the YMCA with their Safety Around Water campaign. The Safety Around Water program brings in lifeguards to community and local pools to teach their residents how to swim and basic water safety. Kids drowning at unsupervised pools is a huge problem in Dallas and the YMCA is doing it’s part to reduce this statistic. Can’t play but still would like to donate? Click here!
